Nylabone Recalls Puppy Starter Kit Dog Chews Due to Salmonella

Nylabone-Puppy-Starter-Kit-RecallNylabone Products of Neptune, N.J., has just announced a voluntary recall of one lot of the company’s 1.69-ounce Puppy Starter Kit dog chews due to possible Salmonella contamination.

The chews were distributed throughout the U.S., Canada and via domestic mail order. The issue was discovered following routine testing by the company.

The recalled chews bear the lot #21935, UPC 0-18214-81291-3, located on the back of the package, and with an expiration date of 3/22/18, according to the FDA.

Consumers are urged to cease giving this product to their pets and are advised to return any unused portions to the place of purchase for a full refund.
